Terms of service

Last updated 23 August 2026

The short version. Only scan sites you own or are authorised to work on. Prakam writes changes to your website — review them before approving, and keep backups. You bring your own AI keys and pay those providers directly. We can't promise the tool is always up, and our liability is limited to what you paid us.

1. Your account

You need an account to use Prakam, and you must give a real email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think it has been used without your permission.

One account is for one person. Team seats are available on the Agency plan.

2. Sites you may scan

You may only enter a site you own, or one you have permission from the owner to work on. When you start a scan, you are instructing us to fetch that site on your behalf, and you are confirming you have the right to do so.

Our crawler identifies itself and fetches at a limited rate. You are still the party responsible for the request. Do not use Prakam to scrape sites you have no relationship with.

3. Changes we make to your site

This is the part worth reading twice.

When you approve a link and run Apply, Prakam edits content on your website — through the WordPress API, a connector you installed, or files in a repository you connected. Those are real changes to real content.

You approve; we execute. Responsibility for what ends up published on your site remains yours.

4. AI output, and its limits

Relatedness scoring and rewriting are produced by machine learning models. They are useful and they are not perfect. Suggestions can be wrong, rewrites can read awkwardly, and a relatedness score is an estimate rather than a fact.

Prakam is built so nothing reaches your site without your approval, precisely because of this. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, original, or suitable for any particular purpose.

We also make no promise about search rankings. Internal linking is one input among many, and no tool controls what a search engine does.

5. Provider keys and costs

Prakam uses your own API keys for AI providers. Any charges those providers bill you are between you and them — we do not mark them up and we do not reimburse them. Watch your own usage; a large scan makes a lot of API calls.

Free provider tiers have rate limits that can interrupt a scan. That is a property of the provider, not a fault in Prakam.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Prakam to:

We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is doing any of these.

7. Plans, billing, cancellation

The free plan is free and stays free within its limits. Paid plans bill monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

We do not automatically refund partial months. If something went genuinely wrong, write to us and we will sort it out sensibly.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Prakam running and we do not guarantee it. There is no contractual uptime commitment on any current plan. Scans may be interrupted by restarts, provider rate limits, or the target site being slow — an interrupted job is reported as interrupted and can be started again.

9. Liability

Prakam is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. On the free plan that is zero, which is a real consequence of using a free tier.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost traffic, lost revenue, or lost rankings.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may end your access for a material breach of these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Links already published to your site stay published — they are your content on your server. Deleting your account removes our copy of your data, including the ledger, so export anything you need first.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
